1. Introduction & Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you ("Client," "you") and TaskBullet LLC ("TaskBullet," "we," "us"), a Utah limited-liability company. By purchasing hours, creating an account, or using our services in any way, you agree to these Terms in full.
If you do not agree, do not use our services. We recommend reading these Terms carefully — they're written in plain English so you know exactly what you're agreeing to.
2. Definitions
- Flexible Hour Virtual Assistant Model — TaskBullet's service structure: prepaid Buckets of Hours with dedicated VA continuity, specialist routing, management oversight, 90-day rollover, and a 60-day unused-hour guarantee.
- Buckets of Hours — Prepaid blocks of virtual assistant time (ranging from 10 to 168 hours) that you purchase and use at your own pace.
- Virtual Assistant (VA) — The dedicated assistant assigned to your account by TaskBullet.
- Specialist Routing — When a task falls outside your VA's core skills, it is forwarded to a qualified specialist from within TaskBullet's team, using the same bucket of hours.
- Management Oversight — TaskBullet's US-based account managers who review work quality, handle escalations, and manage VA transitions on your behalf.
- Account — Your TaskBullet client account, including dashboard access, billing records, and task history.
3. Our Service — The Flexible Hour Virtual Assistant Model
TaskBullet provides managed virtual assistant services to US entrepreneurs and small business owners. When you purchase a Bucket of Hours, here's what you get:
- A dedicated VA who learns your business, preferences, and workflows over time.
- Specialist routing — tasks outside your VA's core skill set are handled by a qualified specialist, all from the same bucket.
- US-based management oversight — an account manager reviews deliverables, handles quality assurance, and manages transitions.
- No contracts — you can stop at any time with no penalty.
You are responsible for providing clear, complete task instructions. We manage the execution, quality review, and delivery — but we can only do great work with clear direction.
4. Buckets of Hours, Rollover & Guarantee
Buckets of Hours
You purchase prepaid blocks of VA time. Bucket sizes range from 10 to 168 hours depending on your plan and region (Philippines-based or US-based VA). Hours are deducted as tasks are completed and tracked in real time via your dashboard.
90-Day Hour Rollover
- Unused hours remain available for 90 days from the date of purchase.
- Hours that are not used within 90 days expire automatically.
- If you purchase a new bucket before existing hours expire, the older hours are used first.
- Rollover applies to all bucket types — Philippines and US — including subscription and one-time purchases.
60-Day Unused-Hour Guarantee
- If you have unused hours within 60 days of purchase and are not satisfied with the service, you may request a refund for those unused hours.
- To request a refund, email support@taskbullet.com within the 60-day window.
- Refunds cover unused hours only — hours already used are non-refundable.
- Free trial hours are not eligible for refund.
5. Full-Time & Part-Time Plans
TaskBullet may offer full-time and part-time VA plans in addition to standard Buckets of Hours. These plans include:
- Full-time: Up to 160 hours per month of dedicated VA time.
- Part-time: A set number of hours per month, billed on a recurring basis.
- Full-time and part-time plans follow the same management oversight, specialist routing, and quality standards as bucket plans.
- Unused hours on these plans are subject to the same 90-day rollover policy.
6. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are listed in US dollars.
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.
- Subscription buckets renew automatically each billing cycle until you cancel.
- One-time bucket purchases do not auto-renew.
- We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days' written notice. Existing purchased hours are not affected by price changes.
- You must provide accurate billing and contact information. You are responsible for keeping this information current.
7. Termination & Refunds
You may cancel at any time — there are no long-term contracts and no cancellation penalties.
- To cancel a subscription, update your billing settings in the dashboard or email support@taskbullet.com.
- After cancellation, any remaining unused hours stay available for up to 90 days from their original purchase date.
- Refunds are governed by the 60-Day Unused-Hour Guarantee (Section 4).
- TaskBullet reserves the right to terminate your account if you violate these Terms, use the service for unlawful purposes, or engage in abusive conduct toward our team.
8. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential information private:
- Your data. TaskBullet and its VAs will not share, sell, or disclose your business information, task details, client lists, credentials, or any other confidential material you provide — except as needed to deliver our services.
- Our data. You agree not to disclose TaskBullet's proprietary processes, pricing structures, internal systems, or VA compensation details to third parties.
- Confidentiality obligations survive termination of these Terms.
9. Non-Solicitation & Employee Buyout
Non-Solicitation
During the term of service and for 12 months after termination, you agree not to directly or indirectly solicit, recruit, or hire any TaskBullet virtual assistant, specialist, or employee who has worked on your account.
This includes offering work through a different platform, personal arrangement, or third-party staffing agency.
Employee Buyout
If you wish to hire a TaskBullet VA directly (outside of our service), you may do so by paying an employee buyout fee. The buyout fee ranges from $5,000 to $10,000 depending on the VA's tenure, specialization, and role. This fee compensates TaskBullet for recruiting, training, and managing the assistant.
To initiate a buyout, contact support@taskbullet.com. We'll confirm the exact fee and facilitate a smooth transition.
10. Warranties & Limitation of Liability
- TaskBullet provides services on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, results, or timelines — though we work hard to deliver high-quality work consistently.
- We are not liable for errors, delays, or issues caused by unclear instructions, incomplete information, or third-party tools and platforms you require us to use.
- TaskBullet's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid to TaskBullet in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — regardless of the cause.
- Work product. Work created by your VA on your behalf is owned by you. TaskBullet retains ownership of its proprietary systems, processes, tools, and branding.
11. Data Protection & Privacy
- We take your data seriously. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
- Your account data — tasks, hours, billing, VA assignments — is stored securely and is accessible only to you, your assigned VA, and TaskBullet management.
- We do not sell your personal information or business data to third parties.
- TaskBullet uses AI-powered tools to help you manage your account (see How TaskBullet AI Works). AI features are read-only, account-scoped, and your data is not used to train AI models.
- You are responsible for any credentials or access you share with your VA. Use secure sharing methods and revoke access when no longer needed.
12. SMS Communications
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from TaskBullet related to your account — including task updates, onboarding notifications, and service alerts.
- Message frequency varies based on your account activity.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- To opt out, reply STOP to any message or email support@taskbullet.com.
- To get help, reply HELP or call 855-827-5285.
- Opting out of SMS does not affect your service or account status.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah.
14. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify you by email if we have your contact information.
Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with any changes, you may cancel your account at any time (see Section 7).
