When searching for the best virtual assistant company for your needs, there are many factors. Start by asking yourself a few basic questions.

How much work do I have for my VA?

Do you need full-time, part-time, or sporadic help?

VAs are normal people just like you and me. Some VAs are great; some are not so great. It's better to focus on the system you are partnering with.

Do they have the infrastructure to manage the VAs?

  • Quality Check
  • Managers and resources the VAs can access for help if they run into a problem.

Do they have systems in place if something goes wrong?

  • Redundancies if your normal VA has a problem.
  • 24/7 customer support in case something comes up outside of normal business hours.

Last question is, how am I being billed?

Be very careful when dealing with companies that bill monthly regardless of use. That's essentially the same as putting your entry-level employees on salary. I like salary in certain situations, but my entry-level employees are definitely not on salary. That would be highly inefficient and incentivizing the wrong people for the wrong level of output.

Pricing

Be careful with monthly billing.  This is like putting your entry-level employee on salary.  If you consider lunch breaks, social breaks, and the fact that people waste an additional 2.09 hours at work. You need to add at least 25% to the hourly rate for real-world applications.  And that is a best-case scenario. Most VA companies that bill monthly and don't let you keep your hours are writing off more than 50% of unused hours.

As you can see, when looking for an alternative to Wing Assistants, TaskBullet is the clear winner for virtual assistant services. In comparison, the hourly rate appears to be slightly higher, but the real-world application will show that it is actually lower than Wing Assistants. When considering the refund policy, no monthly billing, the levels of redundancies and support. TaskBullet is clearly the better virtual assistant company for the consumer.
